Can you fix a leaking shower without removing the tiles?
Only when the water is getting in through worn grout or silicone. If it’s reaching the room below or the wall outside the shower, the waterproofing under the tiles has failed, and the shower tiles have to come up so it can be replaced.
How much will it cost?
A leaking shower usually costs $2,500–$6,500 to fix properly, and a bathroom waterproofed during a renovation $600–$1,200. Send photos for a free written quote.
Do I need a licensed waterproofer?
In NSW, home waterproofing over $5,000 needs a licensed contractor. You can check any contractor’s licence, ours included, on the NSW Government register.
Do you do the tiling?
We do the waterproofing. The tiling is done by a licensed tiler: yours, or one we can arrange so the trades run in order.
